So far I still haven't make any review and comments about the recent performances i'd seen. Ok here we go........
The Phantom of the Opera
It was seen last month on a friday's nite. I was sitting at the stall, yups one of the most expensive ticket @$160. The view is ok expect the man in front is a bit tall and block some views :( .
Back to the performance.... I was amazed by the props they made for this show, so gorgeous!! Without any disappointment, a world-classed performance was shown in the Esplanade theatre. Super voice, dance and acts, though the ending is abit different. Many people said this version is a bit shorter than it used to be.
This was the first time to see a musical in esplanade, the feeling was simply great.
Grasshopper Forever 2007 Concert
Hahaha the one and only 1 concert after their last concert 11 years ago in Singapore. Not really a concert but a party for everyone (not sure for those sitting one the "hill") in the indoor stadium. I was sitting at the 17th row, yup the most expensive seats with a nice view. :) Dancing and singing whole nite without any toilet break time..... simply too busy!
To be frank the stage is really nothing as compared to what they had in HK. But their live performance will make you applaud their professionalism and enery, they are all 40+ uncles yet still can sing and dance LIVE much much much..... better than those "123456789 teams"..... with super power! Proved.... older ginger is more spicy hahahaha! The songs are simply old songs, but all popular and hit at that time. Well, they are still hit actually especially when you hear the medly of 13 dance music.
Not only worth the price but Exceed the value!
For sure I can skip going to Dragonfly after this :)
