It's the end of May. Closing closing closing..... that's all about work. Life is different with the fat fat Siao Panda (in fact he's not very fat, just a wee bits of fats here and there... lol). I can see the happiness from him when we are together. :) And I start to miss him a lot when I'm not with him. :p Well, nobody will know what is going to happen tomorrow, but at least we have the confidence and courage to go through whatever things that may come up.

I went to The Raffles Culinary Academdy as planned to attend a course of making French pastry conducted by the Executive Pastry Chef. In the class we made three different desserts: Passion Fruit Raspberry Tarlet, Chocolate "Pot De Creme" with Raspberry, and Hazelnut Daquoise with Vanilla Cream & Fresh Raspberry.

Absolutely amazing to see and have the hands-on on how to make these French pastries... there were a lot of physical work of whisking and stirring. A lot of fun and laughters especially when we were somehow confussed about the steps and overcooked the eggs, not too sure how to squeeze the batter from the piping bag and creating a bit of mess..... etc. :P

We bring home a classy set of recepi, and a certificate of participation signed by the Chef was presented to each of us after the course. Of course, the most important part is the tasting session cum take away service. :D

Good food must be shared..... so since I was meeting Siao Panda afterwards, hahaha he got no choice but have to taste whatever it is... lol lol lol.

Rainy day with grey sky.... lazy to work :)

Today the VP from US visit... well, commanded to go out for lunch by boss.. -.-"

We all went to Manpuku @ Tampines 1. The place is a machee concept where everybody take a card to order your food at the individual stall and pay later before you leave. The food is not bad. I had ramen with some scallop (aka hotate) which is as much as what it is shown in the picture or the wax model (yeahh....lol). The soup is very rich in taste, like it! We also shared some other things like sashimi which is fresh, some teriyaki stuff and their signature fruit pies. For drinks, I had picked a lemon jelly drink which is the first time i see. The instruction said need to shake shake shake ....... damn funny!

Overall ..... a good lunch! 2.5hours passed ;p
